Faculty Email Help for New Users

The Graduate School of Education prefers that each professor maintain and use an official Touro Email address.

Touro email address are in the form:
firstname.lastname@touro.edu
Note that there are no capital letters or spaces


Each  newly assigned email will receive a temporary password that must be changed within 2 weeks.
Passwords must be a minimum of 8 characters and contain at least 2 digits

The new user will be contacted, typically by an email message sent to their personal email address (given when requesting a Touro email address).
In that correspondence you will be given both your new Touro email address and a temporary password

IMPORTANT: Your temporary email password will expire in 14 days!

Please login to your new Touro email and change the password!

How to change your temporary password:  Watch a video demonstration
Step 1: Please log onto https://mail.touro.edu and enter in your user name, which is: firstname.lastname, WITHOUT, “@touro.edu,” respectively. 
Step 2: Enter your temporary password

Step 3: After a successful login, please click on the options link on the left, and then click on the change password link,
which is the fourth link on the right and create an eight character password that contains two digits.

Step 4: Enter your temporary password and a password of your choosing ( min. 8 characters with at lease 2 digits and NO Spaces). You will be asked to enter this TWICE

You will receive a confirmation: "Your Password Has Been Change Successfully"

NOTE: You have the option of forwarding all received email received at your Touro email to your personal email. Click "Forwarding" at the top menu bar.
